My friends are creating gorgeous babies right and left. I went home to Missouri to meet Marilyn and Sonya, both of whom have been born in the past two months. I've decided that newborns are my favorite because they let anyone - even a perfect stranger - hold them for hours. I also got to see Clara at six months who happens to be huge and has the most expressive eyes. It was baby heaven. I had a hard time leaving their mamas.
I also attended my sister's 28th birthday-pumpkin-carving party that included perfectly tacky Halloween decorations. I love that my sister insists on themed parties as an adult.
